This Privacy Policy explains how MyCelebrityLookalike.com handles information when you visit the website or use the celebrity look-alike tool.
1. The Short Version
Your uploaded photo is used only to generate your celebrity look-alike result. We do not save or share the photo. We do not use the photo, a facial template, or other data derived from the photo to train or improve our software or AI models. Temporary image and facial data are discarded when processing is complete.
The website has no user accounts, newsletter, or third-party advertising.
2. Information We Process
Uploaded photos
When you choose a photo and submit it, the image is sent to our server and held temporarily in memory while the match is calculated. The service measures facial features and compares them with celebrity reference data. The uploaded image and the facial data produced for that request are not written to persistent storage and are discarded after the result is returned.
Service and result telemetry
When a result is successfully generated, we may record a limited event containing the request time, IP address, service mode, and the top similarity score. This event does not contain the uploaded photo, a facial template, the matched celebrity name, or information that lets us reconstruct the photo. We use this information to monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and understand aggregate service use. Supabase provides the database used for this limited event data.
Our web server and Cloudflare may also process standard technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, browser and device type, requested page, referring page, and request time.
Information you send us
If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to include in your message. We use it only to respond, keep appropriate support records, and protect the service.
3. Facial and Biometric Data
The look-alike tool analyzes facial geometry to compare an uploaded face with celebrity reference images. Some privacy laws may describe facial measurements or a numerical facial representation as biometric data.
We process this data only after you choose a photo and request a match. We do not use it to establish or verify identity. We do not save the uploaded photo or the facial representation, share or sell it, add it to a database, or use it to train or improve our software or AI models. The temporary facial representation is discarded when the requested comparison is complete.
Please upload only your own photo, or a photo you are authorized to use. The service is intended for entertainment, not identification or decisions about another person.
4. Analytics
We use two analytics services:
- Google Analytics 4 helps us understand which pages are used and how visitors navigate the site. We enable IP anonymization in our Google Analytics configuration.
- Cloudflare Analytics supports traffic measurement, security, and delivery of the website. Cloudflare may process network and device information when it handles a request. We do not use Cloudflare Analytics for advertising.

5. How We Use Information
We use information only to:
- provide the look-alike result you request;
- deliver, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain the website;
- measure aggregate use and improve the website experience;
- prevent fraud, automated abuse, and security incidents;
- respond when you contact us; and
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not run third-party advertisements or use uploaded photos for marketing.
6. Service Providers and Disclosure
Cloudflare helps deliver and secure the site, Google provides analytics, and Supabase stores limited result telemetry. These providers process data for the purposes described above under their own contractual and legal obligations.
We may also disclose limited information when required by law, to protect the rights and safety of users or others, or in connection with a business transfer. Uploaded photos and temporary facial data are not available for these purposes because we do not retain them after processing.
7. Retention
- Uploaded photos and facial data: kept only in temporary memory for the time needed to generate a result, then discarded.
- Service and result telemetry: kept only as long as reasonably needed for security, reliability, and aggregate analysis.
- Contact messages: kept as long as needed to respond and maintain appropriate support records. Analytics and infrastructure providers may retain technical data according to their own documented settings and legal duties.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Keeping photo processing temporary reduces the amount of sensitive data at risk.
9. International Processing
Our service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, appropriate legal safeguards are used for those transfers. The protections described in this policy continue to apply regardless of processing location.
10. Your Choices and Rights
You can use browser privacy settings, content blocking, or similar tools to limit analytics requests.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection relating to personal information we retain. You may also have the right to complain to a local data protection authority. Because uploaded photos and facial data are discarded after processing, we cannot retrieve them later.

11. Children's Privacy
The website is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent us personal information can contact us so we can investigate and delete retained information where applicable.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the service or legal requirements change. The revision date at the top will be updated, and a prominent notice will be provided for material changes where reasonably practical.
